Police are investigating following a fatal assault in Warrnambool believed to have occurred Wednesday night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to a Suzanne Court property just after 1.30pm today.
A 57-year-old man was located with injuries and was transported to hospital where he died this evening.
Police have arrested a 44-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman believed to be known to the victim, both are currently being interviewed.
The exact circumstances are yet to be established and Homicide Squad detectives will investigate.
