Man dies, three injured after serious crash in Tamworth

A man has died and three others injured after a crash in Tamworth yesterday, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway; Tamworth about 3.15pm yesterday, after a Ford Falcon and a Toyota Kluger collided.

The driver of the Ford, a 30-year-old man, died at the scene.

The passenger of the Ford, a 19-year-old woman, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.

The driver of the Toyota, a 44-year-old woman, and her 54-year-old male passenger, were also treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

All three people were taken to Tamworth Hospital for further treatment.

Crash Investigation Unit Officers established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
