Man dies, woman critical after domestic-related stabbing in North Richmond

A man has died and a woman has been critically injured after a domestic-related stabbing in Sydney's north west today.

Emergency services were called to a home on Enfield Avenue, North Richmond, just after 10.45am (Monday 14 January 2019), after reports of a stabbing.

A man, aged in his 40s, died at the scene.

A woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Westmead hospital in a critical condition.

A second woman, aged in her 40s, sustained minor injures, however, she was not taken to hospital.

Two 13-year-old girls were also home at the time. They were unharmed.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and a crime scene has been established.

Investigations are continuing.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
