Man exposes himself in Altona

Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a man exposed himself at a bus stop in Altona on 18 July, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told a woman aged in her 50s was standing at a bus stop on Blyth Street when a man approached her about 8am.

It is believed the man did not say anything and exposed himself before masturbating in front of the woman.

They both then got on the bus and the woman got off at an Altona Meadows stop before the man.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged 26 to 30-years-old, 170cm tall with brown eyes and was wearing a black jacket at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released a digital image of a man in the hope someone may recognise him.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the wilful and obscene exposure is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
