Man extradited from South Australia over break and enter offences, NSW

A man has been extradited from South Australia over three outstanding warrants for offences that are alleged to have occurred in Leeton last year, NSW Police say.

Police will allege the 26-year-old man was wanted on three outstanding warrants for aggravated break and enter, breach AVO and break, enter and steal committed in Leeton in January and March 2017.

The offences are alleged to have occurred at a home on Grevillia Street and Quandong Street, Leeton.

The man appeared at Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on Monday 26 March 2018, where his extradition was granted.

He was taken to Griffith Police Station where officers from Murrumbidgee Police District executed the warrants.

The man was bail refused to appear at Griffith Local Court today (Wednesday 28 March 2018).
