Man extradited from Victoria for outstanding warrant in Campbelltown

A man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a robbery that is alleged to have occurred earlier this year, has been extradited from interstate, NSW Police say.

The 27-year-old man was wanted on an outstanding warrant relating to an armed robbery in Bradbury in August.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command commenced inquiries into the whereabouts of the man.

He was arrested by Victoria Police detectives from the Fugitive Taskforce on Thursday 11 October 2018 in Tarneit, Victoria.

Yesterday (Friday 12 October 2018), detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command travelled to Victoria, where the man’s extradition to NSW was granted.

He was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon.

The man was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 13 October 2018).
