Man extradited in Albury

A man has been extradited from Victoria today over alleged indecent assaults committed in the state’s south, NSW Police say.

Police will allege the 78-year-old man was wanted on two conviction warrants for six indecent assault offences committed in Albury between December 2006 and January 2007.

He was extradited from Bendigo, Victoria, today and taken to Albury Police Station where the warrants were executed.

The man was refused bail to appear before Albury Local Court on Monday 7 August 2017.
