Man found driving disqualified for the fifth time in Northern Beaches

Police have charged a man after he was allegedly caught driving in the Northern Beaches while disqualified for the fifth time, NSW Police say.

About 4.30pm yesterday (Friday 22 June 2018), officers from the Northern Beaches Highway Patrol Command stopped a Ford Focus on Victor Road at Brookvale.

Police checks revealed the driver, a 39-year-old man, was disqualified from driving until 2030.

The man was arrested and taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with driving whilst disqualified and disobey no right turn sign.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 23 June 2018), where he was granted conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court on Thursday 28 June 2018.
