A man has died after he was hit by a car in Sydney’s north-west overnight, NSW Police say.
Just before 8pm today, a 56-year-old man was crossing Wilberforce Road, Wilberforce, when he was struck by a car being driven by a 79-year-old woman.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics treated the man; however, he died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
