Man hospitalised after crash - Green Valley

A man has been hospitalised in a serious condition following a crash in Green Valley this morning.

About 7.30am (Tuesday 8 August 2019), emergency services were called to the intersection of Wilson Road and North Liverpool Road after reports that a vehicle hit an 84-year-old man on a mobility scooter.

A Toyota Corolla, driven by a woman aged 70, is believed to have been exiting a roundabout when it hit the man as he crossed the road on his mobility scooter.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and stabilised the man at the scene. He was conveyed to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

Traffic diversions are in place and motorists are being advised to avoid the area

A crime scene has been established and investigations into the collision continue.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
