Man hospitalised following pursuit in Minto

A man has been hospitalised following a pursuit in Minto overnight, NSW Police say.

Just before 10.30pm today, officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attempted to stop a Mitsubishi Triton utility on Collins Promenade.

Police pursued the Mitsubishi for a short distance before it crashed and rolled whilst attempting to turn at the intersection of Pembroke Road and Ben Lomond Road.

The passenger, a 28-year-old man, was assisted out of the vehicle whilst the driver, a 25-year-old man, climbed out.

The driver was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Police allege the vehicle was involved in a fraud incident prior to the pursuit.

Inquiries into the matter are continuing with charges anticipated.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
