Man in critical condition after crash in Shellharbour

A man is in a critical condition after being hit by a bus in Shellharbour today, NSW Police say.

About 1pm today (Tuesday 16 January 2018), a bus was travelling eastbound on Lake Entrance Road, Barrack Heights, when it collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of Captain Cook Drive.

The 28-year-old man has been airlifted to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police Station have commenced investigations into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
