A man is in police custody after a stabbing at Vale Park this morning, according to SA Police.
Police and paramedics rushed to Stewart Avenue, Vale Park just after 8am on Monday 25 December by reports a man had been stabbed.
The victim was found outside with serious injuries. He has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical, but stable condition.
A short time later, police pulled over a vehicle on Lyons Road, Holden Hill and apprehended the suspect.
The suspect is currently being interviewed by Holden Hill CIB detectives.
Police wish to reassure the public that this was not a random incident and the people involved are known to each other.
