Man injured after falling through skylight near Fairfield, NSW

Three men are expected to be charged with trespassing after one of the men fell through a building’s skylight in Sydney’s west, NSW Police say.

Police attached to Fairfield Local Area Command were called to a school on Carnarvon Street, Wakeley, just after 1.30am today (Friday 26 January 2018), by security guards after finding a smashed window and blood on the ground.

Following inquiries, officers attended Liverpool Hospital and spoke to a 22-year-old man, who told police the group was walking along the roof of the building, before he fell through the skylight.

It will be alleged two other men smashed a window of the school to reach the man after he fell.

He was taken to hospital where he was treated for fractures to his nose, jaw and damage to his teeth.

All three men are assisting with inquiries.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
