Man injured during altercation at Petersham, NSW

A man has suffered an injury to his arm following an altercation at Petersham overnight, NSW Police say.

About 11.20pm tomorrow, an altercation occurred between two men outside a hotel on Livingstone Road.

As a result, one of the men, aged 20, suffered a laceration to his arm. He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for further treatment.

The other man was seen running from the area along Livingstone Road.

Police established a crime scene and a full investigation is now underway.
