Man Injured During Beaumaris Aggravated Burglary

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Beaumaris yesterday morning that left a man with serious head and facial injuries.

Investigators have been told up to three offenders gained entry to the Anita Street home just before 1.30am on 25 March.

A 74-year-old man home at the time was significantly assaulted and was subsequently transported to hospital in a critical condition.

A 75-year-old woman also home at the time was not injured.

At this stage it appears nothing was stolen.
