Man injured during home invasion in Dundas

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted during a home invasion at Dundas overnight, NSW Police say.

About 12:45am today, emergency services were called to a home on Narrun Crescent following reports of a home invasion.

Police have been told two men armed with a knife and a piece of wood forced open the rear door of the home.

The occupant, a 37-year-old man, was threatened before being assaulted.

The men fled in a white Mercedes sedan.

Officers from Rosehill Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The occupant was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a minor injury.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses or anyone with information is urged to contact Rosehill Police via Crime Stoppers.
