Man injured following assault in Hurstville

Police are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted in Sydney’s south, NSW Police say.

About 11pm today, a man left a licensed premises on Forest Road, Hurstville, when he was approached by two males.

It will be alleged the two men assaulted the 29-year-old man before fleeing the scene.

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, before being taken to St George Hospital with head injuries.

Officers attached to St George Local Area Command attended the scene and commenced and investigation.

Police would like to speak to two males who might be able to assist with inquiries.

Both men have been describes to police as being of Indian Sub Continental appearance, slim build with black hair. One man was last seen wearing a white shirt and the other man was wearing a black shirt.
