Man injured in fall in Adelaide CBD, South Australia

A man has been injured after he fell from a building in the Adelaide CBD.

Just before 1am on Thursday 3 January police were called to Rundle Street after reports four people were unlawfully on top of a roof.

Police announced their presence and three of the four eventually climbed down a ladder to waiting police.

A fourth man attempted to jump to an adjoining building, but fell to the ground. Police immediately provided first aid assistance and called for paramedics who took the man to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

The 20-year-old from Hallet Cove sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A 21-year-old man from Osborne, 29-year-old woman from Parafield Gardens and a 20-year-old man from Victoria were all cautioned for trespassing.
