Man injured in Glengowrie fire, SA

A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a unit fire at Glengowrie last night, according to SA Police.

Police and emergency services were called to Rellum Street just after 11.30pm on Friday 13 January after a member of the public reported seeing smoke coming from a two-storey townhouse.

Fire crews worked quickly to bring the blaze under control after discovering a man inside the burning unit.

The man was pulled to safety and treated by paramedics before being rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre.

Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the fire.
