Man injured in Hindley Street fight, South Australia

Police are investigating a fight in Hindley Street overnight that left a man with serious head injuries.

Police and paramedics were called Hindley Street, Adelaide, just after 4am this morning, Saturday 18 September by reports of a fight.

Two men had become involved in an altercation at the corner of Morphett Street and Hindley Street.

One of the men was found unconscious on the roadway. The 20-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious head injuries. He remains in a critical but stable condition.

Police wish to speak with another man about the incident who left the scene before emergency crews arrived.
