Man injured in St Kilda hit-run

Police are attempting to locate the driver involved in a hit and run in St Kilda this morning.

A 30-year-old male was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at the intersection of Grey Street and Barkly Street about 11.10am.

The driver failed to stop to assist the man and continued driving onto Inkerman Street, heading towards the Nepean Highway.

The man who was struck had to be taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Prahran Highway Patrol members are investigating the incident and urge any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
