A man missing from Sydney's west has been located safe and well.
The 73-year-old man was last seen at a hospital in Blacktown about 5pm yesterday (Tuesday 18 January 2022).
When he failed to return to the hospital, officers from Blacktown Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Officers patrolling the rail system located the man a short time ago (Wednesday 19 January 2022).
Police thank the community and the media for their assistance.
