A man missing from Cabramatta has been located safe and well after police issued a geotargeting message appealing for assistance earlier today.
The 86-year-old man was last seen in the vicinity of Longfield Street, Cabramatta, about 10.15am today (Sunday 16 January 2022).
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified of the man's disappearance and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following inquiries – including the issue of a geotargeting message – police were alerted of his location in Liverpool, where he was found safe about 8.30pm today.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
