A man missing from Redfern has been located safe and well.
The man, aged 78, was last seen about 6pm yesterday (Thursday 1 September 2022) on George Street, Redfern.
After failing to return home, officers attached to South Sydney Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate him.
After a public appeal for assistance, and an SMS geo-target message, the man was located in Redfern about 7.30am this morning (Friday 2 September 2022).
Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
