Man missing from Southern Highlands located

A man reported missing from the state’s Southern Highlands has been located safe and well today.

The 69-year-old man was last seen leaving his home on Church Road at Moss Vale about 2pm yesterday (Tuesday 5 May 2020), and was reported missing to officers from The Hume Police District.

Following inquiries, the man was located walking along the M7 at Windsor about 9am today (Wednesday 6 May 2020).

He was taken to Castle Hill Police Station where he will be assessed as a precaution. He will be reunited with his family.
