A man missing from northern NSW has been located safe and well.
The 76-year-old man was last seen about 5pm on Monday 28 February 2022 at an evacuation centre in Lismore.
Officers from Richmond Police Area Command were notified when the man could not be located or contacted and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the man was located safe and well on Union Street, South Lismore, about 11.45am today (Tuesday 8 March 2022).
Police thank the public and media for their assistance.
