Man missing from Sydney's north west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north west.

Ngatupuna Moetaua also known as 'Joe', aged 54, was last seen by family around 7am yesterday (Saturday 17 October 2020) walking along Barnier Drive, Quakers Hill.

When he didn't return home to Quakers Hill as expected, he was reported missing to officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

Ngatupuna is described as being of a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build, with dark grey hair and brown eyes. Police have been told he is mute and has limited speech.

He was last seen wearing grey shorts and a green jumper.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare, he is known to frequent The Ponds and Quakers Hill area.

Anyone with information about Mr Moetaua's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
