Daylesford Police arrested a 27-year-old man yesterday in relation to an incident on 19 July, Victoria Police say.
It was reported an unknown man approached two children and offered them a lift in Daylesford in the afternoon.
The Daylesford man was interviewed by police and released, no offence was detected.
Police are not seeking any further information in relation to this incident.
