A man has been reported for affray and assault following an investigation into an altercation at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday night (8 April), according to SA Police.
The investigation followed reports of an incident during the Showdown AFL match at Adelaide Oval during which a man allegedly punched another man from behind.
Today detectives from Eastern Adelaide reported a 37-year-old Salisbury man for affray and assault and issued him with a three month barring order from the Oval.
The man will be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
