Man's death follows crash, NSW

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a man was found dead a day after he was involved in a single-vehicle crash at Barraba, in the state’s New England region, NSW Police say.

About 5.30pm on Friday 22 September 2017, a Toyota utility was being driven along Range Street when it left the road and hit a fence.

The driver’s friends helped to remove the vehicle from the ditch and the 59-year-old man returned to his home.

The 59-year-old man’s body was discovered at home the following afternoon after a friend became concerned for his welfare.

Emergency services were called to the property, but the man could not be revived.

A post mortem examination will officially determine how the man died.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
