Police investigating after a man was allegedly shot at a motel in Coburg North this morning, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the premises on Sydney Road about 3.30am after witnesses reported hearing fighting and a loud bang.
On arrival police found a man in his 30’s with suspected gunshot wounds to his head and leg.
He has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
