Man shot in southern suburbs, South Australia

Southern District CIB are investigating a shooting which occurred yesterday in the southern suburbs.

Just after 2.30pm, Wednesday 25 May, a 39-year-old Glenelg North man, presented at Noarlunga Hospital with a single gunshot wound to his leg. Hospital staff called police who briefly spoke with the victim before he was to undergo surgery.

His injury is not life threatening and police do not believe it was a random attack.

Investigations are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision on The Esplanade between Beach Road at Christies Beach and Castleton Avenue at Port Noarlunga around 2pm - 2.30pm yesterday.
