Man stabbed at construction site - Mascot

A man has been stabbed at a construction site in Mascot today.

Emergency services were called to the location on Coward Street just after 11am (Monday 18 November 2019), after reports a man had been injured.

Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, where they found a 25-year-old man suffering multiple stab wounds to his leg.

He was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

A 28-year-old man is currently assisting police with enquiries.

A crime scene has been established. Investigations continue.
