Man stabbed - Bexley

A man has been taken to hospital with stab wounds following a dispute in Sydney's south.

About 1.20pm today (Saturday 9 May 2020), police were called to Queen Victoria Street, Bexley, to reports of a brawl.

Upon arrival, officers from St George Police Area Command found a 37-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his torso.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition.

A man and woman have been arrested and taken to Kogarah Police Station, where they are assisting with inquiries.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
