Man stabbed - Blacktown., NSW

Police are appealing for information from the public after a man was found injured at Blacktown this morning.

Emergency services were called to a convenience store on Flushcombe Road about 5.30am tomorrow, where they found a man with a stab wound and lacerations to his shoulder.

The 27-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The man is assisting police with inquiries.

Police from Blacktown Local Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers, NSW Police say.
