Man stabbed in alleged DV assault in Zetland

Two people are being treated in hospital following a suspected domestic-violence related incident at Zetland this morning.

Emergency services were called to a home unit on Defries Avenue at Zetland about 2.15am (Saturday 2 February 2019), responding to reports a man had been stabbed.

A 33-year-old man was found inside the unit suffering stab wounds. He has been taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he's reported to be in a stable condition.

A 31-year-old woman has also been taken to hospital for treatment for unknown injuries.

A crime scene has been established at the home unit and officers are waiting to interview both people once they are well enough.
