Man stabbed in Emerton

An investigation has commenced following the stabbing of a man in Emerton yesterday.

Just before 8pm (Monday 28 January 2019), emergency services were called to a home on Offenbach Avenue, Emerton, after reports a man had been stabbed.

Police have been told a man, aged 47, was stabbed in the arm in the front yard by another man, who was known to him.

The injured man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command attended the scene and have commenced inquiries.
