Man stabbed in Sydney's west

Police have commenced an investigation after a man was stabbed in Sydney's west overnight.

About 1.30am today (Friday 14 October 2022), emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing at an industrial site on Lenore Drive, Eastern Creek.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 19-year-old man at the scene for multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.

Detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

There is no ongoing risk to the community.
