Police are investigating a stabbing in the Wollongong area this morning, NSW Police say.
About 8.20am emergency services were called to Tom Brown Parade, Kemblawarra, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers found a man aged in his 20s with stab wounds.
He has been taken to Wollongong Hospital for treatment.
A crime scene has been established as police from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command continue their investigations.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
