Man stabbed multiple times in Blacktown

An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed multiple times in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown, about 11.30pm yesterday (Friday 16 March 2018), after reports a man had been injured.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found a 42-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his arm.

The man was treated by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

A crime scene has been established.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding his injury, including where it occurred, are continuing.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
