A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed at Albury this morning, NSW Police say.
Just before 5am, today, an argument commenced between a man and a woman known to each other while driving on Elizabeth Mitchel Drive.
It is alleged the woman produced a knife and slashed the man causing a minor wound to his throat and finger. The struggle continued between the pair, however he was able to grab the knife.
The 31-year-old man drove to Albury Base Hospital and the woman allegedly jumped from the car as it entered the hospital grounds.
The man was treated for his injuries.
The 21-year-old woman was arrested a short time later at a nearby residence.
She was taken to Albury Base Hospital and treated for injuries and is currently assisting police with inquiries.
