Man to be charged after Paradise death, South Australia

A man will be charged with murder following the sudden death of a man at Paradise this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to an address in Urban Avenue, Paradise just before 5.30am on Friday 8 February.

A 65-year-old man was found inside the house and, despite the efforts of paramedics, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 35-year-old man from the address was taken into police custody and will be charged with murder.

Police will refuse bail and the arrested man is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at the earliest opportunity.

Eastern District CIB detectives wish to reassure the community that the people involved are known to each other.

The investigation into the death is in its early stages and is ongoing.
