Boroondara police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from a service station on Wilsmere Road on Tuesday 18 July, Victoria Police say.
The man approached the vehicle which was parked at a fuel pump about 6.20am.
It is believed the man looked into the car before entering from the driver’s side door and driving off.
Investigators have released CCTV footage of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
