Man wearing a cape arrested over Largs Bays service station robbery, SA

A man wearing a Halloween costume has been arrested, following a robbery at a Largs Bay service station earlier tonight. , according to SA Police.

Just after 7.30pm, a man wearing a black mask, witches hat and a black cape, threatened a console operator at the service station on Military Road, demanding cash.

He fled on foot with a small amount of cash and cigarettes in a black bag, last seen on Wills Street, where a vehicle was possibly parked or waiting.

There were no reported injuries.

A short time later following the robbery Western Adelaide CIB Detectives attended a Taperoo address and took a man into custody. He is currently being interviewed over the incident and is expected to be charged with aggravated robbery
