Man will face court for over 100 dishonesty offences, SA

Detectives from the Major Fraud Investigation Section have reported a man for 106 dishonesty offences following an extensive investigation, according to SA Police.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between March 2015 and July 2016 while the man was employed at a travel agency. The owners of the business, and 19 clients were defrauded of over $500,000 with many clients left stranded at overseas at airports as no return flights had been booked.

The 45-year-old Parkside man was reported for numerous dishonesty offences including deception, aggravated deception, identification theft, aggravated theft, dishonest dealings with documents, dishonestly manipulate a machine and pass valueless cheques.

The man will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 October.
