Man wounded in fight in Sadleir

A man is in hospital after being wounded with a bladed weapon in an incident in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

About 2.40pm (Saturday 31 March 2018), police responded to reports of two groups fighting on Sadleir Avenue, Sadleir.

A man aged in his early 20s was located with wounds to his arms and fingers. He has been taken to hospital in stable condition.

A crime scene has been established on Sadleir Avenue which will be examined by forensic specialists.

Police are speaking to witnesses, no arrests have yet been made.

Inquiries continue.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
