Ms Jane Palfreyman has been appointed Managing Director of SBS for a five-year term.
Ms Palfreyman brings more than 20 years' experience in the broadcast industry, with roles at some of Australia's biggest media organisations, including Nova Entertainment, Global Radio and Southern Cross Austereo.
Over the past decade, Ms Palfreyman has held a variety of roles at the SBS across commercial operations, content strategy, marketing and executive leadership.
She successfully led the positioning of the SBS brand as a world leader in multilingual, multicultural and First Nations broadcasting, and has grown free-to-air, broadcast video on demand, digital publishing and audio audiences.
