Manning/Great Lakes Police District welcomes newly appointed Rural Crime Investigator Detective Senior Constable Lachlan Tancred, NSW Police say.
Detective Senior Constable Tancred will be stationed at Taree Police Station to address rural crime issues in the pastoral, agricultural and aquaculture industries.
About 9am on Monday 9 April 2018, the Commander of Manning/Great Lakes Police District, Detective Superintendent Shane Cribb, and Crime Manager Detective Chief Inspector Neil Stephens along with Detective Senior Constable Tancred will meet and greet farmers at the Taree Saleyards.
Detective Senior Constable Tancred will form part of a multi-agency approach to provide the rural community with effective crime prevention strategies.
Police will work closely with communities to address the issues that affect them the most.
