A man's body has been found on a Lismore street during the ongoing flood operation.
NSW Police can confirm this is the third death associated with the flood crisis in northeast NSW.
About 10.55am today (Wednesday 2 March 2022), officers attached to Richmond Police District were called to the corner of Uralba and Dawson Streets, Lismore, after reports a man was seen floating in flood waters.
Upon arrival, the body of a man was located; he is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established, which is currently being processed by specialist forensic officers.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
